Hi,
I do get asked about non-UK platforms so I thought I’d start with a general answer.
The UK platform Sponsume takes projects across Europe and in different currencies, incl the Euro http://www.sponsume.com/
The US site IndieGoGo accepts projects from all over the world http://www.indiegogo.com/
Our rewards-based model combined with dedicated support is helping entrepreneurs start and scale for-purpose companies across the world.
We’re enabling entrepreneurs to locally address their social problems, without waiting years for external support. The aim is to create economic growth and self-sustainability within local and global communities through social entrepreneurship. This is why our vetting process checks for: social value creation, financial sustainability, a strong team, experience, a compelling story and passionate dedication.
We have an all-or-nothing model and apply a 5% fee on successful campaigns.
hi,
I need some funding for a knowledge based magazine which will be published from Bangladesh on 8th March issue. How can I get help? Can anyone give me assistance?
Hi - I don’t know of a platform based in Bangladesh. Platforms are often country or regional specific. You might approach http://startsomegood.com/ as I cannot see any restrictions. I’ll dig around for you.
Hi All,
I know this is such a stretch, possibly unrealistic, but like many Londoners, I am concerned that the Mayor is not listening to calls to drop budget cuts to the fire departments budget …. London is facing the loss of 12 Fire Stations, 18 fire Trucks re-deployed to save council tax payers about 1p a day … £3.65 a year, and well I feel this is damaging to our society and lives.
I would like to set up a ‘crowd funded’ project to give people the opportunity to say “NO” and pledge this saving to assist with the public feeling that it really isn’t wanted.
Anyone know of a site that can help …. (The meeting’s tonight, it would be great to set up by then, but realistically its one for the next week or so).
I am setting up a advisory, support and training poject for homeless and vulnerably housed people in the southcoast. Any advice on the best crowdfunding platforms
