Our Manchester on Spacehive
Manchester City Council is launching the new “OurManchester” Hive on crowdfunding platform Spacehive with a pledge pot of £60,000 for your local projects.
Anyone can make great ideas happen through crowdfunding! What could you or your organisation do to make Manchester an even better place to live and work?
- Come to a briefing event and find out how you can:
- Use crowdfunding to transform Manchester’s parks, open spaces and other areas of the City
- Support communities with their crowdfunding campaigns and deliver their projects
Help us make quirky and exciting ideas happen in Manchester.
We are holding three briefing events across Manchester for you to choose from. Join us at Abraham Moss Library, Alexandra Park or Wythenshawe Park on Monday the 20th or Tuesday the 21st of June for an interactive ideas workshop for civic crowdfunding in your area. They are all free to attend. Simply head to http://www.ourmanchester.eventbrite.co.uk to register for one of the briefing events.
1. North Manchester: Monday Evening, 20th June, 6.30pm-8.30pm at Abraham Moss Library, Theatre Room, Crescent Road, Cheetham Hill, M8 5UF
2. Central Manchester: Tuesday Morning, 21st June, 9.30am-11.30am at Alexandra Park, Tea Hive Cafe, Russel Street, Whalley Range, M16 7JL
3. South Manchester: Tuesday Evening, 21st June, 6.30pm-8.30pm at Wythenshawe Park, The Courtyard Cafe, Wythenshawe Park Road, Brooklands, M23 0PB
